Compare Party Bus Rentals in Sacramento
Rosevillepartybuscompany.com is a quote-comparison website for group ground transportation. It is not a bus company and does not provide transportation itself — it's just an incredibly easy way to find, compare, and connect with party buses, charter buses, minibuses, and Sprinter vans serving Sacramento, Roseville, and the entire surrounding region.
Here's why that's great news for you: instead of calling one company after another, describing your trip from scratch on each call, and waiting on callbacks that may never come — you fill out one short form, and in seconds you can see different vehicle options and price ranges from providers serving your area. You're never limited to a single fleet, which means more choices, more flexibility, and a better shot at finding the right bus at a rate that works for your group.
Whether you need a 25-passenger party bus for a Kings watch party or a fleet of 56-passenger charter buses for a corporate retreat out of the Natomas corridor, Rosevillepartybuscompany.com puts your options in one place. Call 279-279-8160 any time to get a quote — or use the online form for instant results.

Explore The Sacramento Charter Bus & Party Bus Amenities
Not every Sacramento group trip calls for the same setup. A 15- to 50-passenger party bus typically comes loaded with color-changing LED lighting, a full-length bar area, flat-panel TVs, Bluetooth sound, and wraparound perimeter seating — a natural fit for bachelorette nights through Midtown or birthday crawls along K Street. A Sprinter limo brings a more executive feel with premium leather, individual climate zones, and tinted windows, and works well for smaller wedding parties moving between venues in the Fab 40s.
For school field trips to the California State Capitol or long-haul runs to Lake Tahoe, full-size charter buses offer overhead storage, reclining seats, onboard restrooms, and undercarriage luggage bays. Amenities vary by vehicle, but this site lets you compare options side by side so you know exactly what you're getting before you book.
Air-conditioning
Wraparound Leather Seats
AUX / Bluetooth Sound System
LED and Fiber Optic Lighting
Built-in Bar Areas With Ice Storage and Cup Holders
TVs and Entertainment Systems
Amenities listed above are common features that MAY be available on party buses. Because we are a referral website and do NOT own or operate buses, exact features vary by vehicle, provider, and availability. After you submit your quote request, you can browse vehicle options, pricing, and available details on the results page. To confirm the exact amenities included with a specific vehicle offered for your trip, call 279-279-8160 before booking.
Sacramento Party Bus Prices
Sacramento party bus rental prices vary based on vehicle size, the date, trip length, and how much demand there is for that particular weekend. To give you a planning reference: a minibus generally runs $200–$275 per hour on weekdays and $200–$275 per hour on weekends, while a 25-passenger party bus runs roughly $250–$350 per hour on weekdays and $275–$375 on weekends. A charter bus typically falls in the $200–$350 per hour range regardless of day.
These are planning ranges — real pricing shifts with your specific date, itinerary, and availability at the time you book.
The fastest way to know what your specific trip will cost is to call 279-279-8160 or use the online quote form. You could have pricing for your group in under a minute. Check the party bus prices page to see the full breakdown.

See Sacramento Party Bus Options in One Place
The traditional way to book a charter bus is exhausting: you Google companies, call during business hours, explain your trip repeatedly, wait for callbacks, and try to compare quotes that were never structured the same way. Rosevillepartybuscompany.com replaces all of that with one form and a results page you can actually use.
Because this site pulls from a network of independently owned transportation providers serving the Sacramento metro — not a single fleet — you see a real range of options. A 20-person bachelorette group heading to Midtown and a 300-person corporate conference shuttling between the Sacramento Convention Center and downtown hotels have completely different needs, and both can find what fits here. You don't need an account.
There's no obligation. Quotes are free online or by phone, any time, any day.
And if you ever have questions — about which vehicle fits your headcount, what the loading situation is at Golden 1 Center, or what to expect on I-80 heading toward Tahoe on a holiday weekend — a support team is available at 279-279-8160 every day of the year. Compare options, find what fits, and get your group moving. It's really that simple.
Group Transportation Options in Sacramento
From airport transfers and sports game shuttles to wedding transportation, concert buses, bachelorette parties, corporate shuttles, prom, and school field trips — whatever's bringing your group together in Sacramento, there's a bus in the network ready for it. Call 279-279-8160 to get started today!

Sacramento Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Sacramento International Airport (SMF) (6900 Airport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95837) serves the Capital Region out of two terminals — Terminal A and Terminal B — connected by an indoor walkway. Commercial bus and van pickups operate from the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) on the lower level of the Consolidated Rental Car Facility, accessible from both terminals. The key detail: do not call for your bus until your full group has cleared baggage claim and is assembled curbside — coordinating arrival at SMF with a large group that's split across two terminals and multiple baggage carousels is where most airport pickups go sideways.
For groups flying into the Bay Area and connecting up I-80 to Sacramento, or heading out to Lake Tahoe the same day, a charter bus makes the transfer a single, stress-free leg instead of a rental car line plus a two-hour drive. Review the official SMF ground transportation page before your visit for current loading zone guidance. Call 279-279-8160 to set up your Sacramento airport shuttle today.

Sacramento Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Sacramento's Midtown grid — R Street Corridor, K Street, and the stretch between 16th and 20th — is genuinely one of the better walkable bar districts in Northern California, but "walkable" only works once your group is actually there. Getting 18 people from a Roseville Airbnb to Midtown Sacramento on a Saturday night without splitting into four separate Ubers is the first problem a party bus solves. From there, the night can hit Badlands on K Street, Shady Lady Saloon on R Street, and close out at Faces on 21st — all without anyone watching their phone for a surge-priced ride home at 2 a.m.
A Sacramento bachelorette party bus seating 15 to 50 comes with the bar setup, the LED lighting, and the Bluetooth sound to keep the energy rolling from the first pickup to the last drop-off. Weekend party bus rates run roughly $275–$500 per hour depending on vehicle size and date. Fill out the quote form or call 279-279-8160 to check availability for your date.

Sacramento Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
Sacramento and the surrounding suburbs — Roseville, Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova — host a significant volume of quinceañera and Sweet 16 celebrations each year, and arriving in a party bus is one of the more memorable ways to make an entrance. Birthday party buses seating 15 to 50 passengers are a natural fit, and many vehicles in the network come in white, black, or silver to coordinate with your event colors. Popular reception venues like Vizcaya (2019 21st St, Sacramento, CA 95818) in Curtis Park and banquet halls throughout the Roseville and Rocklin corridor book up months out on Saturday nights in spring — and so do the buses.
For adult milestone birthdays, a night moving from dinner at Paragary's in Midtown to a late set at a downtown bar means nobody has to drive, nobody gets separated, and the group stays together all night. Party bus weekend rates for a 25-passenger vehicle run roughly $275–$375 per hour. Call 279-279-8160 to check what's available on your date.

Sacramento Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Two venues define Sacramento's concert circuit, and both present real logistics challenges for groups. Toyota Amphitheatre (2677 Forty Mile Rd, Wheatland, CA 95692) sits about 30 miles north of downtown Sacramento off SR-65 — there is virtually no public transit to it, the dirt lots fill up fast on sellout nights, and post-show exit traffic on Forty Mile Road can lock up for 45 minutes or more. A charter bus from Sacramento means your group arrives together, skips the gridlock on the way out, and nobody has to be the one who stays sober to drive back down SR-65 at midnight.
Closer in, Golden 1 Center (500 David J. Stern Walk, Sacramento, CA 95814) hosts touring concerts year-round alongside the Kings schedule. Parking in the DoCo blocks surrounding the arena is either paid garage or not available at all on sold-out nights. A Sacramento concert bus rental drops your group in the arena district and picks everyone up after the final encore — no circling, no $30 garages, no splitting into separate Ubers.
Call 279-279-8160 to lock in your date.

Sacramento Corporate Event Transportation
The Sacramento Convention Center (1400 J St, Sacramento, CA 95814) sits at the heart of the downtown grid, and on conference days, parking in the surrounding Capitol Mall blocks gets tight fast — the closest structures on 14th and 15th Streets charge premium event rates, and groups driving in from Roseville or Elk Grove deal with both I-80 congestion and limited drop-off windows on J Street. A Sacramento charter bus solves the hotel-to-convention-center shuttle problem cleanly: one vehicle, a fixed schedule, and your attendees aren't showing up in waves because half of them couldn't find parking.
For larger employee shuttle programs in the Natomas tech corridor or Point West office parks near Arden Fair, a minibus is often the right-sized fit — enough capacity for a shift change without the footprint of a full-size motorcoach. Sprinter vans work well for executive transfers between SMF and downtown hotels on tight schedules. Call 279-279-8160 or use the quote form to discuss Sacramento corporate shuttle packages.

Sacramento Private Event Transportation Services
Sacramento's event calendar has several dates where group transportation stops being a convenience and starts being a necessity. Aftershock Festival at Discovery Park (1600 Garden Hwy, Sacramento, CA 95833) draws 40,000+ attendees each October across four days — the Garden Highway approach backs up significantly on peak days, and rideshare demand spikes hard at festival close. A private charter bus from a Roseville or Elk Grove hotel gets your group in before the worst of the inbound traffic and out before the post-show rideshare queue builds.
Cal Expo (1600 Exposition Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95815) hosts the California State Fair each summer, Sacramento Republic FC games, and major concerts throughout the year. On-site parking at Cal Expo is plentiful for standard cars but can fill on sellout events, and the Exposition Boulevard approach gets congested. A Sacramento private event charter bus stages near the venue and picks your group up at a predetermined time — no hunting for your car in a 10,000-space lot after dark.
Call 279-279-8160 to discuss your event date and group size.

Sacramento Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in Sacramento runs late April through May, and it is the single most demand-compressed window of the year for party bus rentals across the region. Schools in the Elk Grove Unified, Sacramento City Unified, Roseville Joint Union, and Rocklin Unified districts all hold their proms within a roughly five-week window, and buses fill up fast. For prom: book by January or expect premium pricing and limited vehicle availability.
Waiting until March or April is a real risk — not just higher rates, but potentially no bus at all for the vehicle type your group wants.
Rosevillepartybuscompany.com makes it easy to compare buses for prom side by side, check pricing for your specific date, and lock in your pickup plan before the calendar gets away from you. A 25-passenger party bus for a 4–5 hour prom rental booked early runs meaningfully less than the same vehicle booked six weeks out. Call 279-279-8160 today — or use the Sacramento prom party bus page to get started.

Sacramento School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Sacramento's concentration of state history and science institutions makes it one of the most natural field trip destinations in California for schools across the region. The California State Capitol Museum (1315 10th St, Sacramento, CA 95814) offers guided tours for student groups, with bus drop-off on N Street and 10th — advance coordination with the Capitol's visitor services office is required for large groups. The California State Railroad Museum (125 I St, Sacramento, CA 95814) in Old Sacramento is a consistent school favorite, with bus loading on Front Street adjacent to the riverfront.
For longer day trips, the Crocker Art Museum (216 O St, Sacramento, CA 95814) offers student group programs, and the Sacramento Zoo (3930 W Land Park Dr, Sacramento, CA 95822) in William Land Park handles school groups through its group entry gate on Sutterville Road. A Sacramento school event charter bus handles the headcount and keeps students together from pickup to return — call 279-279-8160 to get a quote for your field trip date.

Sacramento Sporting Event Transportation
Kings games at Golden 1 Center (500 David J. Stern Walk, Sacramento, CA 95814) are the dominant group transportation draw in Sacramento, and the arena's Downtown Commons location is both its best feature and its biggest parking challenge. The DoCo blocks are urban, dense, and expensive on game nights — the nearest structures on 5th, 7th, and J Streets run $20–$40 on sellout nights, and rideshare pickup after the game stacks up on 5th and K for 20–30 minutes. A Sacramento charter bus drops your group on David J. Stern Walk steps from the main entrance and has a pre-arranged pickup point ready when the final buzzer sounds.
Republic FC supporters heading to Cal Expo and Sutter Health Park (400 Ballpark Dr, West Sacramento, CA 95691) for River Cats and Athletics games face a different challenge: the Yolo Causeway on I-80 westbound into West Sacramento is a single-point bottleneck that backs up badly on sold-out nights. A minibus or party bus from East Sacramento or Midtown skips the parking scramble on Ballpark Drive entirely. Call 279-279-8160 to book your Sacramento sporting event bus today.

Sacramento Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Sacramento wedding venues span a wide geographic range — from estate properties in the Vineyard Road corridor of the Clarksburg wine country to historic venues in East Sacramento and Downtown — and that spread creates a real guest logistics problem. Asking out-of-town guests staying at hotels near the Convention Center to navigate to a venue in Elk Grove or along the Delta without getting lost is a reasonable source of wedding-day anxiety. A Sacramento wedding shuttle bus runs a fixed hotel-to-venue-to-reception loop, so guests arrive together and on time without anyone needing a rental car or a rideshare that doesn't show.
For the bridal party itself, a 14-passenger Sprinter limo is a clean fit — premium leather, tinted windows, individual climate control, and enough room for a full bridal party plus flowers and garment bags. A minibus handles larger wedding party groups moving between a ceremony at Vizcaya and a reception venue across town. Lock in your wedding date early — spring and fall Saturdays in Sacramento book out six to nine months in advance.
Call 279-279-8160 to check availability.

Sacramento Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Move over, Napa — the Sacramento Delta wine country along Clarksburg Road in Yolo County and the Shenandoah Valley AVA in Amador County (roughly 45 miles southeast via Highway 16) are two of the most underrated day-trip wine destinations in California, and both are genuinely impractical to tour without a dedicated vehicle. The Clarksburg appellation — home to Bogle Vineyards (37783 County Road 144, Clarksburg, CA 95612) and Merritt Island Vineyard — sits along levee roads that see zero Uber coverage. A Sacramento winery tour bus rental keeps the group together, manages the drives between estates, and means nobody is nursing a sparkling water through the fourth tasting.
For pub crawls staying closer in, Sacramento's R Street Corridor and the Oak Park neighborhood have enough craft breweries and cocktail bars — New Helvetia Brewing (1730 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95818) and Device Brewing (7811 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95826) among them — to fill a full evening. A Sacramento winery tour and pub crawl bus rental handles the stops without anyone watching the clock on surge pricing. Call 279-279-8160 to start planning your route.

How much does a party bus cost in Sacramento?
Sacramento party bus rental prices depend on vehicle size, the date, and trip length. As a rough planning guide: a minibus runs around $200–$275 per hour, a 25-passenger party bus runs about $250–$375 per hour, and a full-size charter bus generally falls in the $200–$350 per hour range. These are planning ranges — the price for your specific trip moves with date, demand, and availability.
Fill out the quote form or call 279-279-8160 and you could have pricing for your group in under a minute.
Where does a charter bus drop off at Golden 1 Center?
Golden 1 Center's immediate street grid is the Downtown Commons (DoCo) development, and commercial vehicle drop-off typically uses David J. Stern Walk on the arena's south side. Street access varies by event and whether road closures are in effect around 5th and K Streets. Check the official Golden 1 Center parking and directions page before your visit to confirm current drop-off access and any event-specific road closures in the DoCo block.
How does a bus handle Toyota Amphitheatre's remote location?
Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland is about 30 miles north of downtown Sacramento — there's no light rail, no rideshare coverage, and post-show exit traffic on Forty Mile Road and SR-65 can run 30–45 minutes on sold-out nights. A charter bus or party bus from Sacramento solves this entirely: your group rides up together, the bus is staged in the amphitheatre's oversized vehicle lots during the show, and departure is coordinated to beat the worst of the post-show exit queue. See the Toyota Amphitheatre bus rental guide for more detail.
Can a bus take my group to Lake Tahoe from Sacramento?
Yes — and it's one of the most practical uses of a charter bus out of the Sacramento area. The drive up I-80 to South Lake Tahoe or Truckee runs roughly 2 hours from Downtown Sacramento under normal conditions, but during ski season and holiday weekends, chain controls and heavy traffic on the Donner Summit grade can push that to 3–4 hours. A charter bus means nobody is navigating in a snowstorm and everyone travels together regardless of what I-80 is doing.
See the Lake Tahoe charter bus guide for logistics specific to that run.
What's the best vehicle for a Sacramento wine country tour?
For groups of 10–20 heading to the Clarksburg Delta wineries or Amador County's Shenandoah Valley, a minibus is typically the right fit — it handles rural levee roads and winery driveways better than a full-size motorcoach, and the capacity matches most tasting group sizes. For larger groups of 25–50, a party bus works well and adds the onboard ambiance to match a day of wine tasting. Call 279-279-8160 to talk through which vehicle fits your group size and itinerary.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Sacramento events, booking 4–8 weeks out gives you solid vehicle selection and competitive pricing. For high-demand periods — Kings playoff runs, Aftershock Festival in October, prom season (April–May), and New Year's Eve — plan on 3–6 months out to avoid premium pricing or no availability at all. Prom season is the most time-sensitive: Sacramento-area schools pack proms into a five-week window, and buses fill up fast once spring schedules are announced.
The earlier you call 279-279-8160, the more options you'll have and the better the rate.
Popular Sacramento Party Bus Destinations
Sacramento's group transportation calendar runs year-round — Kings games, summer concerts at Toyota Amphitheatre, Cal Expo events, Old Sacramento tours, and Delta winery runs all generate consistent demand. Here's what to know about the city's most popular group destinations before you book.

Golden 1 Center
Golden 1 Center (500 David J. Stern Walk, Sacramento, CA 95814) is the home of the Sacramento Kings and the Capital Region's primary arena for concerts and large events, with a seating capacity of 17,608. It sits in the middle of the Downtown Commons development at 5th and K Streets — an intentionally walkable urban venue with no dedicated parking structure attached to the arena itself. The nearest garages are the Capitol Garage on 7th Street and surface lots throughout the DoCo blocks, most of which charge $20–$40 on sellout nights.
A Sacramento charter bus or party bus drops your group on David J. Stern Walk steps from the main entry and picks everyone up post-game at a pre-agreed time — no $35 parking, no circling. Review the official Golden 1 Center directions page for current drop-off access before your visit.
Address: 500 David J. Stern Walk, Sacramento, CA 95814 | Phone: (916) 701-5401

Sutter Health Park
Sutter Health Park (400 Ballpark Dr, West Sacramento, CA 95691) is the longtime home of the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats and is currently also serving as the temporary home of the Athletics (MLB) through at least 2027 while their new Las Vegas ballpark is built, with the two teams splitting the schedule so only one plays home games at a time. The park sits just across the Sacramento River in West Sacramento, which sounds close — but westbound I-80 over the Yolo Causeway is a consistent post-game bottleneck that can turn a 10-minute drive into 40 minutes on a sellout night. Commercial vehicle drop-off uses Ballpark Drive, and on-site parking for standard vehicles is available in the surrounding lots.
A Sacramento party bus or minibus stages nearby during the game and gets your group out ahead of the causeway backup. Check the Sutter Health Park bus rental guide for full logistics, and review the official directions page before your visit.
Address: 400 Ballpark Dr, West Sacramento, CA 95691 | Phone: (916) 376-4700

Toyota Amphitheatre
Toyota Amphitheatre (2677 Forty Mile Rd, Wheatland, CA 95692) is Northern California's largest outdoor amphitheatre, with a capacity of approximately 18,500 — lawn and reserved seating combined. It sits in a rural stretch of Yolo County farmland about 30 miles north of Sacramento, accessible via SR-65 from the Lincoln area. There is no public transit to the venue and functionally no rideshare coverage at show time.
General parking on the dirt lots off Forty Mile Road is available but post-show exit traffic is a real commitment — exit queues on SR-65 southbound regularly run 30–45 minutes after major shows. A charter bus or party bus from Sacramento is the practical answer: the vehicle parks in the designated oversized lot during the show and times departure to give your group a clean exit window. See the full Toyota Amphitheatre transportation guide for current approach and parking details.
Address: 2677 Forty Mile Rd, Wheatland, CA 95692 | Phone: (530) 743-5200

Old Sacramento Waterfront
Old Sacramento Waterfront (along Front Street between I Street and Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA 95814) is a 28-acre National Historic Landmark District along the Sacramento River — home to the California State Railroad Museum, the Discovery Museum, riverboat cruises, and a dense concentration of restaurants and bars along wooden boardwalk streets. It's one of the most popular group outing destinations in the region, and it presents a specific vehicle challenge: Front Street and the Old Sacramento interior streets are narrow historic corridors, and large motorcoaches do not have access to the boardwalk itself. Commercial vehicles use designated loading zones along Front Street at the north and south ends of the district.
Parking for standard vehicles in the adjacent garages runs $2–$3 per hour, but finding a spot that fits 10 cars on a Saturday is a different matter entirely. A minibus drops your group at the Front Street entrance and stages elsewhere during your visit.
Address: Front Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 | Phone: (916) 442-7644

Cal Expo (California Exposition & State Fair)
Cal Expo (1600 Exposition Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95815) hosts the California State Fair each summer (typically late July through mid-August), Sacramento Republic FC matches, and major outdoor concerts throughout the year. The fairgrounds sit just north of the American River Parkway off Business 80, and on sold-out days, the Exposition Boulevard approach backs up significantly from the I-80 interchange. Cal Expo has its own large surface parking lots — parking is generally available but the post-event exit on Exposition Boulevard is the pain point, especially after evening concerts.
A charter bus or party bus from Roseville or Elk Grove stages in the designated commercial vehicle area during your event and times the pickup to beat the exit wave. Check the Cal Expo transportation guide and the official Cal Expo directions page for current lot and drop-off access.
Address: 1600 Exposition Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95815 | Phone: (916) 263-3000

Thunder Valley Casino Resort
Thunder Valley Casino Resort (1200 Athens Ave, Lincoln, CA 95648) is one of the largest gaming resorts in Northern California, operated by the United Auburn Indian Community. It sits about 35 miles northeast of Sacramento via I-80 and Highway 65 — close enough for a day or evening trip, far enough that coordinating multiple cars from a Sacramento hotel becomes its own project. Thunder Valley has a dedicated bus parking area and group entry procedures; commercial vehicle access uses the designated coach drop-off zone near the main entrance on Athens Avenue.
For casino nights, corporate group outings, and large birthday gatherings heading up from the Sacramento metro, a minibus or charter bus keeps the group together from pickup to return — and nobody has to decide who's not drinking to drive the group home. See the Thunder Valley Casino bus rental guide for full drop-off and parking details.
